The Showboyz

The African Showboyz are six brothers—Napoleon, Joseph, Moses, Isaac, Francis, and JJ Sabbah—born and raised in Binaba, a village in northeastern Ghana. Their upbringing was deeply rooted in tradition, where music, dance, and spirituality were central to daily life and community expression.

From a young age, the brothers were guided by a vision received by the eldest, Napoleon, which shaped their collective purpose. They began crafting their own instruments using traditional materials and performing for neighboring communities, laying the foundation for their shared musical journey.

Their music draws from Northern Ghanaian drums and stringed instruments, fused with dance and conscious storytelling that reflects heritage, resilience, and unity.

Today, the African Showboyz perform internationally across the United States, Europe, Australia, and Africa. Having shared stages with legends such as Stevie Wonder, Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, Burning Spear, Mickey Hart Band, Steel Pulse, Arrested Development, and Angelique Kidjo, and with five albums released, they continue to bring African culture to global audiences through powerful live performances.
